VOLUNTEER JENNY McCARTHY'S NEW WILDLIFE PARK CD PHOTO ALBUM TO RAISE FUNDS FOR FRIENDS

Area residents and visitors who would like to learn more about the native wildlife at the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park can purchase a photo CD created by one of the Park's volunteers and a member of its Friends organization.

Volunteer Park Host Jenny McCarthy has taken photos of the Park for over 3 years and has done a professional job of putting together a tour of our Park with over 160 photographs and descriptions of our Park residents. Jenny has done this as labor of love for the Park, and she certainly shows her depth of love for the Park. She will be selling these CDs for the Friends on the 2nd Saturday Membership Appreciation Days at the Visitor Center and during other Friends' events. The cost is $15.00 including tax, with all proceeds going to the Friends' funds for Park projects.

You can see one of the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park's CD albums or purchase one. Stop into the Park office Monday through Friday and see either Susan or Marla for an order form to be mailed to Jenny McCarthy, P.O. Box 5, Inglis, Florida 34449-0005. Or you may contact Jenny via email or send a check for $15.00 + $3.10 if you would like the CD shipped to you. Please include your mailing address and a check made out to the Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park.

These new CD Photo albums will make great gifts for family or friends and provide education and entertainment while supporting Park projects through our Friends' organization.

The mission of the Florida Park Service is to provide resource-based recreation while preserving, interpreting and restoring natural and cultural resources
